Question Battery Connections

I have a 2002 newmar mountain aire 5th wheel. I have connected the batteries however, there are 2 black wires that I don't know where to connect them. Does anyone have a diagram or can tell me how to properly connect the wires to the batteries.

Generally speaking multiple wires will be on the + battery post. But you MUST trace the wires to be sure. There will be no "wiring diagram" that will do one bit of good. Trailer wiring is sloppily thrown together by a bunch of 12 dollar an hour people that are pushed to the limits and simply dont give a darn.

Any wires other than the large main cables will likely go to the out going + terminal and the - negative side of the appliances will be grounded somewhere close to the appliance.

I assume these are smaller gauge wires. They could go to many different things. One may be positive and the other negative. I think it's unlikely that both pos or both neg. That would not make a closed circuit. Not knowing what they go to I would not connect them randomly.

Do you have a battery monitor, a solar controller, has anyone else added after market items?
