All depends; Fleetwood listed the optional King for the 38P in their brochures (2008/2009) as 72 inch. However; mine is a 76 x 80 and the platform is also 76 x 80.

Thank you all for the info. I think we will be fine with the 72x80. The platform seems to be 78 but I'm pretty sure the mattress that came off was not a short queen. I'm sure the mAttress will hit cabinets which is not a problem. Our concern was more that corner sink. We were afraid the additional width on the mattress would be a problem but had we bought the camper new a king bed would have been an option and it appears that the only thing they do differently is switch out the mattresses. 😄. We are so excited for spring and camping season. Happy New Year all🎉🎉🎉
