Yesterday I went back to the dealership.
Had a very short conversation with service rep., and asked to have all documentation, photos ready for me by end of day. He told me they do not provide this information until after work order is complete.
I saw the LCI Tech show up, walked up to his truck and had a very long, and enlightening conversation with him.
Then the Director of Service (did not even know there was one),Warranty rep, service manager, and DRV and I had a teleconference.
Although DRV disagrees with LCI Tech report and feels that the repair will solve the units’ issue, I asked for a letter from DRV stating that if after repair, the unit had any future damage due to that repair, DRV would assume responsibility, and for the lifetime of the unit.
DRV agreed, and I gave permission for the LCI Tech to work on the unit.
After the teleconference with DRV, the LCI tech started the repair he was instructed to do.
Note: LCI Tech stands behind his initial report.
At end of day, rig on passenger side has been repaired with a plate to camber. Tech wanted the passenger side to settle overnight before he took drivers side off jack’s.
BUT as of last night, the passenger side slide looks square, .....
However, Now the driver’s side is visibly out of square.

Can't say I understand the repair or why a frame needs to settle overnight. I would take the trailer to an independent shop to verify the wheel alignment. Hope it all works out. You've been very patient with the ordeal. With over 10,000 views I don't think either DRV or the dealer are doing themselves any favors.

No advice other then to trade it as fast as humanly possible.

Now we know why no one wants to buy used. You always here "buy used, all the bugs are worked out". Well maybe some of those used ones are a POS and never got the bugs permanently fixed.

I would take a break and stop by Winne(@ former Country Coach plant) & Premier RV (both east on 1st st, both are on the south side of street) off the main drag.
Just to peruse what used coaches they might have for sale...( no trailers I suspect)

I left Jumction City yesterday for home.
My husband has health issues we are addressing.
Went back to Dealership and inspected what our unit looked like since night before.
Drivers side is square and passenger side is square.
However, on passenger side on top right side ( looking at unit) there is a 1/2 inch gap between slide and facia. This is where the seal is. The back top side is flush and tight, so tight it schmooshed the seal on down the side.
Dealership had adjusted the slide so it is rolling in the way it is supposed to...no more bumpy slide-in.
Based on the work that LCI did, it confirms that the frame is not bowed.
But it looks like either the facia or T-strip or roof is bowed.
Dealership Tech suggested to put a shim on top right to make so the seal is, basically sealing the slide.
Dealership was contacting DRV for permission to continue with repair.
I have heard nothing.
Kudos to LCI.

It might be a little early but it looks like some progress so great news, and I hope the health issues are easier to deal with then the trailer issues.

I agree 100%. This is an absolute valid concern. Anyone who has a nightmare is going to try to get rid of it and move on. Next buyer has no warranty, zero options if they don't find what someone wants to hide.

I understand that, but the comment I was replying to was that Vilano / Beacon RV's "List" for $80K. I interpret "List" as MSRP. I wish Beacon's MSRP was $80K, I'd order one today.

Hello.
In the last 4 days the Dealership has stepped up channels of communication and work regarding our DRV Mobile Suites. This is so encouraging!
More Fiberglas has been added to fill gap on top of slide and the moulding has been sealed. Also when the slide was tweaked, most of the accent stripes matched up and what little painting needed has been done. The pictures look great, and I can identify that the slide is squared up and no gaps are visible on the top.
We are scheduled to pick up the unit on 6/26.
A huge thank you to all who posted opinions, suggestions and support during the last 3 months. I learned a lot from you folks, and in turn this gave me more insight into how 5th wheels are put on the road. Which I took with me when I hit the Dealership last week.
At the end of the day( another phrase I hate) I probably did not make some friends from the Manufacturer on down to the Dealership. But I also got to know some representatives of each who were not pompous asses.
Just like in real life.
