If you want top of the line in quality, look at New Horizons, horizonsrv.com. they are the only 5 star rated 5er for the last 10 years. We've had one for 4 years fulltime and still feel we made the right decision.

Hi

You will note that the New Horizon as well as Peterson Industries (Excel) is NOT manufactured in Indiana. This in its self is a plus because it indicates less use of the high production components.

However we have looked at and communicated with the factory on the Lifestyle 5th wheel and are very impressed with this unit, they don’t have any Lippert products installed and are built in Indiana. They use a lot of the same products in construction that the high end class “A” builders use. They are heavy and I equate this to the correction of the weak points that result form the use of high production components used by the high production low-end trailer builders. To give you an idea of this they have addressed the roof “sag” of the long slides in the low-end trailers with more structure in the walls and roof of it.

All three of these trailers are high-end trailers and are priced to reflect this.

If you want used, I would say Alpenlite was one of the best. Mine is 19yrs old and I love it. 27sl. Look on face book for the Alpenlite travel club. A 29 and 32 for sale in that group now. Built heavy duty
