Best sliding 5th wheel hitch?

Been looking at sliding 5th wheel plates, any opinions on good, better, best? Thanks.

I used the PullRite Super Glide when we had a 5th Wheel. They make a variety of models...different weights, different rail systems. You don't have to remember to manually reposition the hitch...it does it automatically. It WILL require the addition of a "capture plate" to be added to your kingpin.

I have a PullRight Superglide 2900 18k hitch. Very happy with it. Never a worry.

I have a Pullrite Superglide 20K. They're big, heavy, and expensive, but it's nice not having to think about turn radius at all with my short-box. I'd buy the same thing again.

Best Auto Slide PullRite. Best Quality slider B&W. B&W does not make an auto slide.

sliding hitch

This will be my 14th season with my 16K Pullrite Superglide!

Absolutely made the right decision paying a little more for the BEST automatic sliding hitch13 years ago.

I have a Pullrite Superglide 4400 (20K) with the super rails that I never used. I bought it used from a person that used it once. It's for sale if you are anywhere near Vermont. I traded to a long bed Dually so I won't need it.

I agree the Superglide is THE one...

I too moved from a 5'er to a coach and have a nearly new 4400 sitting in the garage in TexUS...

I have the Superglide 4400 too. First 5th wheel, so no real frame of reference:
1) It requires some maintenance
2) I think it has more "slop" in it than a non-slider hitch, so you'll get a little more weight shift and "chucking" noise.
3) It's heavy, I'd guess near 200 lbs. Not exactly easy in / easy out.
4) Works great. No forgetting to unlock.. I got it as a buddy already did 3k of cab damage to his short bed truck with the first 5th wheel purchase.

I really liked the looks of the Hijacker Autoslider. It doesn't require a capture plate to function.

If you're looking at a non-auto, I'd say B&W all the way. B&W Makes the best hitches hands down.
