We negotiate with everything. Even Home Depot sometimes gives us money off. You just have to ask.

DD was trying trying to reduce the price of a Cancun souvenir. The gentleman asked for $10.
She counter offered "How about $9?
The vendor accepted, "Okay!"
She quickly said, "How about $8?"

We all had a good laugh!

Everything is negotiable. We paid for a weeks stay at a campground in PA and paid $24 a night. We decided to stay another 4 days and they wanted $34 a night because it wasn't another full week. I said "I paid $24 a night and that's fair. If you won't give it to me for $24 a night then we will leave". We got it for $24.... I sold cars in my younger days and someone who walked in and paid full price was a home run. Because of guilt I would always tell them to lower their offer by 10% or more. Just say "if that's the best you can do then I'm in the wrong place. Go sharpen your pencil...
