We are very interested in buying a 2008 Big Horn 3400RL 5th Wheel.

Really like the floor plan and the construction of the 5th wheel.

Wondering if any one on the forum owns one and what their views are of the product?

Thanks for any input!!!

We don't have the 3400RL model, but do have the 3055RL and we love it! Much more storage and interior room than our old trailer (98 Mobile Scout).

Excellent factory service after the sale. They really believe in customer service.

We had a 2006 Big Horn 3500 RL.
We would not recommend anyone purchase a product from Heartland.
We had nothing but trouble and new problems every week, warranty was a joke!
Loved the floor plan but the construction was not there.

Just picked up our 2009 3400RL. VERY short repair list. Fit on one sticky and most was nonsense.

We have an 2008 Big Horn 3055RL and think that it is an excellent unit for the money. We've taken several trips and spent approximately 45 days in the trailer and have encountered no problems. We had just a few minor problems that cropped up shortly after taking delivery but the dealer took care of those promptly. We love the floor plan and the humongous basement storage, tows nice and receives lots of positive comments at campgrounds.

I think the Bighorns are an excellent coach in that price range. Issues that were problems in the past have become improvements by Heartland. They listen to their customers!
I have looked at them with interest for 3 years now and from what I've seen and read they are very pro-active in resolving issues they are aware of. What more can you ask of a MFG.?

We just bought a new Bighorn and made a trip to the factory to take watch it being built. We saw the assembly process from start to finish and were extremely pleased with the quality of the components and construction techniques. This is going to be our retirement nest and we did a lot of research before taking the plunge.

Good luck with your choice whatever it may be and happy camping.
