Oh yeah, I knew that. I have air bags just to level it a bit. I put 5 psi in them and it works good. The rear of my truck doesn't sag anymore with the landmark than it did with my montana. It tows good, and has been very stable. Brakes fine also. Do I need a dually. Probably yes

I've got a similar situation, air bags plus 19.5's. I've pulled it thousands of miles. Do I need a dually.....nope.

Well we have moved on from the Sanibel or Big Horn to the Cardinal by Forest Rivers or the Solutude by Grand Design. Decisions decisions UGH All with the front livingroom though. That will work for us best. But still waiting for the show. We've gotten prices with our trade in but you know they will be the ones getting the best deal. Wish I could sell it outright and not have to play the numbers games.

What ever model you select, pay close attention to tires. We bought a new Bighorn 3070 and had two blowouts with only 8000 miles on the tires. We had a lot of damage which is now repaired and have installed 4 new "G" load 14 ply tires. If you can upgrade at the dealer you would be wise.

Wow! Dodge tow capacities must be a lot higher than Chevy. The Chevy 3/4 ton diesel can only tow 13K lbs. The GVWR of the Landmark 365 is 17.5k, so it's probably over the limit for the 3/4 ton Chevy when the trailer is empty.

What others pull their rv's with has nothing to do with the OP question about the Big horn by Heartland. The OP didn't ask anything about weights or size of other folks trucks.

Rams 2014 2500 CTD has a 17,400+lb tow rating.

To the OP, keep an eye on the 5er's CCC rating. The Cardinal 3800FL has 2151lbs of CCC and the 3825FL only has 1589lbs of CCC. If you're looking to full time then the 3825FL will be maxed when loaded. Even the Solitude only has 2015lbs of CCC.
If you add dual pane windows and 6pt leveling then the CCC will be even lower. We just are weekenders with the usual 1-2 week trips during the year and we pack 13-1500lbs of gear. Going full time will require at least 2000lbs+ of gear. Go read in the FT sections on different forums to get an idea of what you are up against.

Looked at the unit in the link. It seems to have a lack of closets for hanging coats etc by the door. One of the issues I find with most units. One can work around it but it is a pain.

My vote is a DRW (brand choice) and the Jayco Pinnacle 38FLSA. Unless money's no object then as others have mentions a DRV or Excel.
