*Flushing wand down thru toilet
*Built in Flushing System
*GEO Method.........Solution of dishsoap/calgon water softener poured down toilet and then drive
*Replacing the cheap junk stub probes with Horst Probes (if you can find them)
*Replacing monitor system with one that doesn't protrude thru tank wall---external sensing such as SeeLevel System

********OR..........stop the frustration by placing black tape over the monitor and stop worrying about are they 1/2, 1/3, E, F

Know how big your waste tanks are, know how much water you use daily, know how long you can go between dumps.

I haven't looked at mine in over 7 yrs. Don't care if they work or not. Work then get dirty and don't is an on-going issue and it isn't one I worry about

Toilet 'burps'....time to dump black tank
Sink/Shower start to drain SLOWER....time to dump grey tanks
Water pump goes burrrrrrrrrp....fresh water tank needs water

We go 7-10 days between dumps when we were traveling Full Time

If we go camping for weekend...we dump at end of trip (fill black tank full prior to dumping)

How big are your tanks and how long do you go between dumpings?

Tank gauges are like politicians and sales folks, seldom truthful.
I know the unique "gurgle" of each tank and dump them both when one of them gives the signal.
Best wishes

X2 on what Old-Biscuit said. Even if you get them clean, they don't stay that way.
