A product I found and it seems to work great is RV DIGEST IT Holding Tank Treatment. It's mfr. by Unique Manufacturing & Marketing in Arvada, CO. www.uniquemm.com. Check out there website and see what you think. I've been using it and it works great for us. It can be used in both black and gray water tanks.

Dan, you may try rinsing the tank out a couple of times, if you do not have a black tank flush device, just keep flushing until the tank is full. Then drain. After doing that a couple of time fill the tank, add a cup of liq fabric softner and a cup of liq laundry soap. Then drag it around for 10 - 15 miles and let it slosh around abit. The fabric softner will cause any old paper to "turn lose" it may be covering the sensor. Flush it out again and that may clear it up for you. Hope this helps.

If after you do above request and it's still not reading right. Try adding about 10 gallons of water and two bags of Ice to the black tank and go for a 10 mile ride. I read that this will clean the sensors good.

Well, you could always replace the whole shebang with the stick on sensors and control panel, that way they never fail unless the sensor falls off, but that's never happend to us.
