Blast From The Past - "Fiver"

In a former life, back as far as I can remember and when I first came to iRV2, (Fiver) , January 2000, this was our rig and site at the Odetah Campground in Bozrah, CT. Our prime puller was a 1997 Ford PSD SC LB SRW using a Pullrite Super5 Hitch.

The fifth wheel is a 1997 Terry Model 37F.

You can just about make out the iRV2.com sticker on the pin box. I was just trying to look something up in the archives however all the posts I made as Fiver are gone. I would have been well over 20,000 posts if they were still here.

Take time to remember the good times. Have a wonderful Holiday Season, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Mike

That looks a lot like my first 5er. It too was a Fleetwood, Wilderness model. We had 2 doors too. The rear door was close to the bathroom so one did not have to track thru the living room and Kitchen to get to it from outside. We pulled it with a 1999 Ford 7.3L powerstroke.

Like you, when the site converted to the new format I lost about 2500 of my posts. I would say I would be in the 4000 range now. I joined he first month Bill had the site up.

I learned a lot about RV'ing in trailers here at iRV2. I spent 20 years camping in pop-ups before getting into a 5er back in 1999.
