Language has structure. The dictionary defines words. It's not about someones opinion. It's the defined meaning of the word. If someone wants to put their spin on it then go for it. It still won't change the real meaning.

Just for grins I did a search tor the definition of boondocking. After reading through the first page I concluded that there probably wasn't one that was definite. It was similar to what we're reading here, it varies from person to person. It did seem to lean toward being away from other people though.

Looking in our dictionary, which is a little old, I couldn't find a definition for boondocking, but the first definition of boondocks didn't seem like a place we could go with our campers, the second was a remote rural area.

Interesting, try it.
