Discovered a new pump that is perfect for our grey water project.
Westmarine.com model 8709131 Johnson Ballast Pump.
Absolutely perfect for this job, I think. And it eliminates all that valving because it is reversable.
Comments?

Check out some of these water tanks. I'm not sure if you have 5th wheel or not but if you do check out the special one that fits in the truck bed for 5ths.

Great source, kw99, thank you.

Latest revision
No pump is going to dump the grey water as fast as a 3" gravity hose. (twenty or thirty seconds vs. 5 or 6 minutes with a pump). So we're going with that.
I have the "Tank Buddy" already that can get the grey water up into the truck.

The folks behind me at the dump station will appreciate the speedier method, I'm sure. lol

So the "grey water transportation tank" will be non-electric.

The tanks are in!
The space between the hitch and tailgate of our tow vehicle is now full of gleaming stainless steel. One tank for grey water with gravity drain and the other tank is for returning home with fresh water. The fresh water tank has a Shur-Flo pump to transfer water to RV.
The space (allowing room for pinbox to flex) measures big enough for about 100 gallons total meaning room for about 50 gallons each.
They look great! We are anxious to try them out.
I have pictures to show but someone will have to show me how to post them here.
By the way, thanks again to all who contributed suggestions.

Bob and Julie

Wow - do you have any pictures of that setup? It sounds really cool!

BTW - I have the family trained to get by on 40 gallons, LOL! What was your shortfall, the fresh or the gray?
