Breakdown steps

I got this idea off the internet. The steps are snap together and can be moved as pieces instead of as a unit. They are extremely sturdy. Can post more stuff if any interest.

Great idea, but I have no where to carry them between stops.

There are no plans. Cost about $90. These steps are made out of 1 sheet of 3/4" marine plywood (you can get both sides out of one sheet), and 12-1"x6"x8' treated deck boards. These boards are 1" thick and 5 5/8" wide and rounded on the sides. I cut them into 4' pieces giving me 24.
4 of these boards will have 4"deepx3/4"wide notches cut 4" from each end (board on right in picture above) for the braces at the bottom and end of the plywood (left side in picture). The corresponding notches cut in the plywood are 1 5/8"deepx1"wide. Notice the 4" and 1 5/8" depths on the notches swallows the 5 5/8" board. The notches for the 10 step braces cut in the plywood are 4"x1" and the corresponding notches in the boards are 1 5/8"x3/4"(board on left above). These notches in the plywood should be centered under where each top step board will be placed.
After this all you do is put it together and screw on the top step boards.
The difference in widths of the notches is because the plywood in 3/4" and the boards are 1" and they have to fit into each other.
This is not difficult and takes about 4 hours to cut out with a circular saw and jig saw.

Wow. I was just telling/asking my husband to try to figure out something like this for long stays. Now I have to figure what I can toss out of the storage compartment. Hmmmmm.
