broken gear

I have a 2004 Sunnybrook 5th wheel. The gear for the bedroom slideout needs to be replaced. It is under the bed. How do I get the old gear out so I can replace it.

Post a picture of it so we can see, pins usally hold the gear on the shaft knock them out with a punch and gear should slide off

if it is under the bed, first you'll have to remove the mattress and the plywood under it. I'm sure you will have to remove some sort of bracket before you can knock the pin out and slide it off. putting it back together is reverse order.

You will have to pull the matress off and lift the platform up there should be a bottom with screws in it. After it's up then you will see the track that moves the slide and bed, the motor will be right there sometime they will break a pin first before the gear brakes and sometimes they will snap a tooth off.
