Hi all, just joined up so very new to all this, Im hoping to buy a very good used 5th wheeler and bring it to australia and live in it, Im looking for something about 28-34 foot range...must be immaculate I dont have time or skills to be doing repairs, appreciate any info on good brands, bad brands, things to look out for, questions I should ask, a good insurance broker, maybe someone who could inspect it when i find one, happy to pay for this, any advice anyone can offer greatly appreciated many thanks to all regards Dave

Welcome to iRV2. I don't know a thing about buying and selling RVs in the Land Down-under. I would imagine that, like in the states you can find an independent RV repairman and pay him some thing like (US rates) $200.00 to inspect all of the systems and give you an unbiased report. Look at any mobile repair services.

My recollection is that Australia has unique regulations and requirements governing their RVs that make importation challenging at best. I suggest you investigate what you'll face in importing an RV into the country.
