Buying our first 5er tomorrow!

Hello all
Thanks for the good reads and the well noted information. We travel tomorrow to pickup our new to us 2011 keystone 327res. I am excited and now nervous. We worked new tires into the deal and look forward to learning everything we can from the techs there. Bringing my inspection check list with intent to test every thing.
Any last minute advice.

Congratulations on he new 5er.
Document the delivery inspection so that if you have any issues that arise in the future will have an explanation of how to operate it. I video recorded my delivery and used it several times when I've forgotten how to do something.

That Keystone Cougar 327 RES was our original first choice until another dealer made us a better deal on what we have. A great floor plan which many others have purchased and are happy owning.

What brand tires, what are their date codes. If they are the originals they would be manufactured in 2010 or 2011. If so get them replaced before you go anywhere. If it's not too late, work it into the deal. It does not matter how they look or how much tread is on the tire. They are too old by date to trust.

Make sure they did not sneak old Chinese tires in there. Insist on US made major brand tires with current date codes.

We have a 2011 327RES and love it.....been absolutely problem free....well except the tires which were replaced with Michelin ribx. We also replaced the shower with an oxgenics shower head which DW loves. The mattress wasn't so great and bought a gel foam topper from Costco which has made all the difference in the world. I also found some grease fittings on the landing gear which had been painted over......look for them and replace them. We also had problems with the WFCO convertor which had to be replaced a couple years ago. I regularly take the cover off the AC unit and clean it....found a few small wasp nests. Any other questions send me a PM.....
