Cameo 35FD3 anyone got one?

In a couple weeks I am going to look at a new 2008 Cameo 35FD3. Does anyone have one and how do you like it? I am a little leery of a 5th wheel that been on the lot so long. I am going to make them exchange tires with my fiver, if we can work out a deal. The dealers that I talked with are not getting anymore in this year.

In Sept 2006 I bought a new 2006 Carriage Compass 35ks3 off the lot. It was built in Aug 2005 and had sat on the lot. The only problem after a year and 7000 miles was the chinese powerking tomax tires. I put some XP Ribs on it and have been a happy camper. I caught mine before I had a blow out and it did a lot of damage to my trailer. They use Duro tires on the Carriages now.

In 2008 I put a new set of Michelins XPS RIBS on the fiver. If I get this 2008 Cameo they are going to exchange of I will walk away. I have only looked at pictures and we not like it when we see it.

Hi Tom,
We picked up our 2010 Cameo 36fws at the end of July. The unit you are looking at is very similar. Although we have had problems with the dealer and getting everything we ordered into the rig, we love the rig. The quality is great and it is a very comfortable space. We are ready to hit the road but we still have a few years of work. I wouldn't worry too much about why it has been sitting on the lot. They are pricey rigs and with the economy, the dealer may have over ordered.

OK you two - - you been "lookin'" long enough - - time to pull the trigger. You will look long and hard for anything to equal Carriage quality and liveability.
JUST DO IT!!!!!!!! LOL

We are going to stop at a dealer on our way to the Georgia rally. I like the floor plan of the Arctic Fox we now have, just want a few changes. The dealer has a big discount on the 2008 Carriage. It all depends on how we like the floor plan and what the difference will be. The one we now have needs nothing and I can keep it.

The dealer in Hickory sold the one we were looking at. We have no RV dealer in our area (eastern NC) that carry a good quality RV s. I am going to look at another one now in Georgia on the same trip in Oct.. I will probably wait until we go to Florida in Jan.
