Cargo Carrier

We are thinking of purchasing a Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. Our concern is whether or not the rear hitch on the 5r can accommodate a cargo carrier with a ramp and carry over 300 lbs. The dealer said no problem, however we all know they really don't know. I can't seem to find any data on this anywhere on the web or at the dealer/manufacturers sites. Can anyone help with this to guide me to the correct information?

I have found the best way to get the info is just to email (or call) the manufacturer. I have been looking into getting a 5th wheel from Jayco and I just email them with the questions. I’m sure they will send you the specs.

Grand Design uses Lippert Frames, call LCI (Lippert) and ask them, don't bother with Grand Design they don't really know either since they don't manufacturer the frame and they don't warranty the frame, Lippert does. If you hang a trailer on there and there is an issue you may kiss your frame warranty goodbye.

As I understand the hitch on the back is rated for 350 tongue weight and 3500 towing weight. There should be a sticker to state that on the hitch. Post over on the GD owner's forum as there are a number of current 337 owners.
