Carpet in Cedar Creek

Just bought a "new" Cedar Creek 34RLSA 5th wheel. It is a 2008 and the dealer had sold it three times but the customers couldn't get financing. Had real concerns about the carpet when the slides are in but since the rest of the RV met 90% of our shopping list and the price was so good because of the economy ( we always bought used before), we bought it. The design is poor because it has an island kitchen and when the left and right slides come in the the living area, the carpet bunches up against the island. We are wondering if it will go down flat after a awhile when we store it in October to January (before we go to Florida for Jan to March).

I hope someone with an 08 can tell us if it will be a problem, and if it is, did they come up with a solution.

We are looking forward to trips in our new RV. Our 2004 Jayco that we loved was hit by a small plane in Ocala, FL last March and totally destroyed. We lost everything but our lives and we able to get a brand new RV.

Carpet was probably not stretched properly. The factory probably used that foam pad, while it feels nice it will wear fast. It probably is stapled all around and while it would be a chore to fix, probably doable.
Ernie- installing the stuff since 1972 and I can still walk

We noticed the same issue with the carpeting in our Cedar Creek. Even after winter storage, the carpet flattened out when the slides were opened.
