Coachmen Chaparral and AZDEL

Good morning. In my research, I have looked at the Chaparral series by Coachmen. They, like many, have alot of choices of family friendly floorplans. I especially like the 364BH, coming soon and only seen so far on YouTube by Big Truck Big RV channel. But my question is to build quality and longevity. The are constructed with AZDEL and it seems to be all the rage with eliminating the potential for delamination. What are y'all's opinions on the Coachmen Chaparral products?

Thank You

Can't the exterior fiberglass still separate from the Azdel as it would with Luan?
Big difference between the two are that Azdel won't rot.

My understanding is NO....it will not delaminate from fiberglass.

What I have been doing is using YouTube to research 5th wheels. YouTube to me is a great resource. You can do a YouTube search on 'How is ????? 5th wheel made' and at least see some of the construction. I also try to sort thru the marketing hype.

For example I am looking a Keystone Cougar 5th wheels. I see they are tested for cold/hot temps. So I YouTube 'How is the Keystone Cougar 5th wheel made'. YouTube shows construction with OSB particle board for both the floor and the roof vs Rockwood which shows construction with 5/8" tongue and grove plywood for the floor and an laminated roof which I think is a good thing.

chaparral

both the chaparral lite and chaparral fifth wheel rvs are zero degree and 100 degree tested. and we own a xlite they are pretty good rvs and as someone else posted they have not been delaminating and the azdel has been out for 10 years.

You might look at KZ Durango’s at least the Golds have tongue and groove plywood floor and all side welded aluminum sides and rafters.
