Comming out of Winter Storage

5ver has been in outside storage for nearly 6 months here in SW Colorado. I checked today and as expected the batteries are dead. When I go to bring it home in a month or so if I hook the pigtail up to the p/u will it charge them enough to operate the front leveling system so I can lower to the hitch or do I need to pull them and charge them first?

You will need to charge them... A lead acid battery becomes damaged thru full discharge ...many times it is only one full discharge and they never return to function properly. If you have the ability to remove the battery and take it to charge now and then trickle charge it until it is needed...you will have a foresight as to its condition when you reinstall it.
