Hello All,

I'm nearing the completion of my 5er renovation and wanted to get some information on if it's possible to convert my manually cranked landing gear to electrically cranked. Would also appreciate any information on where to go to get the necessary parts. Would like to do it myself as I've done on the renovation.

Thank you all in advance for your time,

Pat

All that is required is the addition of the electric motor and some wiring. First off you need to try and determine the brand of the current landing gear. Then do a search for their web sight and give them a call or email asking for the parts.

Try this site. I've had one on my 5er for 3years and it works perfect every time.

I converted the Atwood landing gear on my previous 5th wheel. The motor bolted right up to the gear box and included the switch. It took me about an hour to do the whole job.
