What does everyone do in the off season ? I am in New England and wonder if I should leav the cover off, tarp it or cover it. It seems the rv dealer says leave it exposed..what do you think ?

There are sever pretty long discussions on this subject. Personally I leave it open and have never had a problem except with some sun fading. My trailer sits on the south side of the house and is exposed to all the weather whether is is summer or winter. If you choose to cover it, be sure to purchase a quality RV cover and not some blue plastic tarps. Oh and welcome to the forum.

I asked the same question about three months ago and got about a 50/50 response. Due to my situation (42' MH) and age I plan to leave it uncovered and just put a coat of wax and it. We live in MD so winters are bad. We also plan to exercise the MH monthly for about a 50 mile trip. Covering and uncovering would quickly become a pain.

If you elect to go with a cover, be sure it is breathable so that moisture doesn't get trapped under it. Also, be sure that it is well-secured to prevent rubbing against the RV under high wind conditions.

We used a cover when we lived in Ohio and had to winterize the RV. Here in Texas, the RV isn't winterized (we camp year around) and stays in covered storage.
