Crack in Front Cap

Can anyone tell me the best way to repair a 12'' crack in my front cap on my camper(01 Cougar 5th wheel). The crack runs from top down about 12''.Tried using fiberglass tub repair kit(was told by a,supposed be, service tech)that didn't work.Best I can tell the cap may be ABS plastic.Would fiberglass w/matting work? Thanks

If it were me, I'd turn it over to a good Corvette or boat repair shop. They can determine the material and make a proper repair.

By the way, is this really your first post or did you re-register on the new forum? If it's the former, welcome to iRV2!
