Cracks in gel coat Montana 5th Wheel

We have spider cracks down the back panel and around the large back window. We were denied warranty work, because it was few months past year date. Should we be concerned and what can be done to seal these cracks. As a newbie I worry about anything that might introduce water into the RV.

Is it a molded Fiberglas rear cap or just a flat sheet? If it is molded then the issue MAY be mostly cosmetic. Otherwise maybe the window screws were over tightened, compressing the wall and cracking the skin.

It is a molded piece. The cracks are from the top of the right side down the entire side. Then horizontal over and under the window.

If the factory overtightened the screws along the top edge, a crack will propagate from that point and travel where ever. Otherwise just too much stress between where it attaches to the roof and at the wall. May need a new cap. If it is just patched w/o reducing the stress, it will reappear

I have the panels on my 5er starting to weather... I was considering a full paint job, so that the panels had the UV protection of a layer of paint.. It was suggested we try a product called CostaCoat.... its a very extensive wash, and clean and 6 coats of a chemical sealer.... 6 coats to get the mill thickness required for protection....

At this point we are very happy and satisfied with the product... it took a few hours to clean and prep... but the shine is back and it looks great....
