Entry to Rv once yesterday fine. Wife tried last night access denied at dead bolt. Cylinder will not turn. 1)Do I drill the lock and repace a cylinder 2)Drill and repace entire assembly. 3)Call Lock Smith spend the $$$ and try to save any or what. Happened at home,close to shop and tool box.Keep the dust on ya boot BKF

Do you have Good Sam ERS? I believe they cover a lockout - we've had this happen to one of the Texas Boomers at a rally years ago, and I believe Good Sam sent out a locksmith.

Might be worth a call.....

I had the same trouble on my Sunnybrook. I took the trim from around the door and began removing the screws that hold the door in. After removing about halp, the frame could be moved just a little, and all of a sudden the lock could be turned again. Somehow the dead bolt lock gets into a bind and will not turn. By losening the frame It apparently relieved some of the tension on the dead bolt. It has only happened once.

Thank you for the help. Soloution of choice. Trip to Camper Land 1hr + 3/16" drill & dewalt + flat and philips drivers + $50 cash = 10min situation solved Keep the dust on ya boot.
