I just purchased a Jayco 2005 285rls and notice the space about the television in the entertainment center has a blank panel that is as wide as the tv section and about 2 feet to the ceiling. Also above the refrigerator there is a spot as wide as the frig and about 2 feet up to the ceiling. I'm curious of the refrigerator needs that space to operate properly and also I have no clue what is above the TV space. Are these left empty to prevent high storage and being top heavy?
Thanks! Dan

The space above the refer is the vent stack going to the roof(I'm assuming that it's not on a slide since you have the overhead space).

The space above the TV could house some of the internal system parts (maybe the antenna booster and entry), but if it were usable space I'm sure Jayco would have put a cabinet up there for storage.

or the opening is not-std size and the mfg is saving a few bucks by not putting a one-of-a-kind size cabinet door there... I'll bet there is plenty of "empty" space there above the TV, not sure about the area above the fridge though...
