Dig in Fiberglas body

While winterizing my 5ver, the Mrs noticed a big dig, (3 inches long) in the fiberglas on the left side, mid way, up high just below the roof line. Upon closer inspection it looks like a very very sharp object dug in and actually broke the surface (crack or gouge).
Only thing I can figure is it was a tree branch but whats done is done.... is there any way to fix it without a dealer repair?

Depending on how deep and if it has not hurt the integrity of the structure, this could be a simple "bondo" sand and paint. If the Fiber glass has been stressed and torn then it would take a little bit of effort , + you would be forced to do some glass repair.

If you literally mean that you don't want to go back to an RV dealer, you'll find that shops that specialize in fiberglass boat repair or Corvette body repair can do an excellent repair job.
