We are in the process of purchasing our first 5ver (a 1993 used Terry Resort) to become fulltime workkampers. The unit we have selected has a drop-down dinette table and folding chairs. We think we might like a dinette booth instead (for storage and comfort). Can anyone provide pros and cons of this, and if we decide to go this route, where we might find something like what we want? I've searched the internet and can't seem to find them at all.

Thanks!
Tracy

I've had trailers with fixed dinette booths and free standing table and chairs. I prefer the table and chairs. You loose a little storage, but the comfort options of the movable chairs outweighs the loss. Plus, accessing the storage area under the dinette is not that convenient.

I wanted a free standing table and chairs but when we bought a used rig, it had a dinette. We could take the dinette out and add the table and chairs however we have used the dinette for sleeping on occasion when we have had extra guests. It's up to you to weigh those options.
