I have found, as a fulltimer, that the customer service from the dealer makes no difference at all. We haven't been back to the original dealer since we bought our unit, new. We just get work done, when necessary, wherever we happen to be.
To the OP, if you like the new Lifestyles, keep looking for a used Carriage. Yes, they made some changes but a Carriage is still a quality unit.
When you go look st a 5th wheel, try to spend as long as possible init. Preferably HOURS, if you can. It will help.
