Welcome to the Site Joe Bob...

Approved Dump stations are at a large variety of locations depending in which state you are at, you may find them at State sponsored Rest areas along the Highways, Most Public campgrouds have Dumpstations that you can use .... most charge a small fee...1-3.00 depending on the site, Some Truck stops also have dump areas. Start watching the highways for the "camper/TravelTrailer" sign with the uhm..... triangle to the rear... As you are new to the RV world don't be afraid, or too embarrased to ask for assistance from a fellow rv'er to kinda show you the ropes. I think you will find that 95+% are great folks who will gladly assist.... at least with the supervising part....

To my knowledge all Flying J truck stops have a free dump station near the RV fuel pumps. There is a website containing the information you seek, but I don't have it to post right now. A search of irv2.com should discover the address. Fewer and fewer states and cities offer free dump stations these days, due to vandalism and idiots dumping hazardous chemicals into them. If I locate the website I'll update this post to include the address/link.
UPDATE; I found that link for dumpstations: dump stations

Not ALL Flying-J's have dump stations. I have been disapointed on more than one stop. Also, I have found that about half that I have used were located so that when you parked next to them, the trailer was leaning AWAY from the dump so that I could not get a good dump. Also, one had the water turned off so that there was not water at the dump station.
