Electric Lift (Avoiding stairs)

My wife has bad knees and the stairs on our 5th wheel cause more wear on declining mobility. I'm looking for a good reliable lift system to get in and out of the home without using stairs. It is not anticipated that she'll be in a wheel chair any time in the near future, so the size can be for a standing adult.

To allow travel, we'd like a lift that is designed to fold up, be attached to the RV, and travel easily.

Any ideas?

If you're handy I'd think about getting one off a school bus. Some of those units would bolt up under the frame and do the job.

If the bedroom and bathroom are an upper level with two or three steps like most fivers, how much have you improved the situation with just an exterior lift? Have you considered switching to a MH and then add a lift if necessary?

Here's another option: Burr Lift.

Also, if your rig has three steps, see if replacing it with a four step set might help. Lesser rise between each step.

I have a Burr handy-lift for sale. $750. It was on my MH when I purchased it.
Has been in the garage for 3 years now.
I am in Kelowna, British Columbia so shipping might be prohibitive
