Eterna-Bond Tape in White for Rubber Roof repair

I need to repair factory caulk at the front-cap on my 5th Wheel. It looks like the RV manufacturer used a self-leveling caulk when they attached the front plastic cap on my 5th Wheel.
This area had not been maintained by the previous owner. Now at 12 years old the seam at the cap and where the rubber roof meets have aged and a new very small leak has started.
I want to either re-caulk or use the eterna-Bond tape to re-seal this area.
Any suggestions from the forum on caulking the area as opposed to eterna-bond tape? Any advice would be great. If you have any links to any of the products I will need if you could copy them into your reply that would be most helpful.
Thanks

Okay I found the Eterna-bond on ebay for a great price. I need to repair the end cap on my 5ver in the front. Once I remove all the leveling caulk that is factory the edge of the rubber roof will be exposed by the bolted on cap. Any suggestions on what to use in place of the old leveling caulk, or would you just apply more and then use the eterna-bond over that? If anyone has done end cap water proofing using any of these methods I am all ears... thanks
