Question Everest Fifth Wheel

I am looking at a used Everest 295 and would like to hear the pros/cons of this brand from those that own them. I would be using it in cold weather at times. Thanks.

We have had our Everest since 8/03, and have had to problems with it until couple weeks ago, the front jack motor needs replaced. No structural or suspension problems. If fact, this is the longest we have kept a unit, since we started back in 1970. We have had 2 class C and 3 class A's since since 1995, and always come back to a fiver.

The Everest was the Montana's twin in the Keystone line...the Everest is no longer made. They both are/were fine rigs with good support from Keystone.

Our Everest is a 2003 model and we are the original owners. It’s been a very durable unit as we have well over 60,000 road miles on it.

Ours has what they called an all weather package which means the underbelly is completely sealed. I would not think ours would be suitable for snowbound country. It’s very hard to heat when at freezing temperatures or a little under. It surely would need more protecting in sub zero weather.

However, there are Everest users that do it and they have heated water lines and basements. Maybe you should check with some of the snowbound users found in the references below.
