I do believe you can edit your own comment or reply. I have never heard of this QAM thing. What brand is your tv and how old is it? I think they are feeding you a bunch of crap.

It's easy to google QAM Tuner and see what pops up. Sorry schrod your wrong it's not "crap".
Our TV is a Sansui. It came with our 2014 Bay Hill.
I purchased a JVC at Costco for outside. It loads all park supplied channels just fine. Both analog and digital
We aren't the only folks in the park who have this problem.
You are right about the edit thing.

Ok so QAM isn't crap. Never heard of Sansui. Our 2016 has Jensen tv's but we have never and most likely will never hook up to cable as we have a Dish Tailgater. This makes me totally in the dark with your tv. I apologize.

hey schrod, would you mind taking some pictures of the underslide that has a white gloss coating? I just want to see what it is your talking about because all of my under slides are the black strand board. unfortunately I didn't put enough silicone around the edges under one of the slides and we had 48 hours of non stop storms so it got pretty damp underneath. Hoping to find time to get these damn slides coated, probably wont be for a couple weeks now keep me posted!

what's the plug for?

Ok I know this might have been asked about before but here goes. Under the main awning above the entrance door there is what looks like a cable plug with a cover over it. Does anyone know what it is and where it goes to?
Thanks for the info.

That plug, I was told is to power the electric awning if you have one.

It's for lights or anything else that you hang on an awning. It may be switched from inside.

Justin, no I haven't had a chance yet and the weather is not really cooperating. Seems it has to rain every couple days. I am better off than you are though as my slide bottoms are not getting wet from the rain. I will see if I can get the big kitchen slide done later this week. Was it you that asked for the pic of the bottom of my bedroom slide? I know it is gelcoat like the exterior of the trailer. It is shiny and white. I don't know why they did not use this on the bottom of all the slides. Rod

Yea it was me, was just curious what it looked like. For some reason just one of my front living room under slide is getting damp with every rain... I have silicone around the edges so now I'm starting to get worried it may be wicking in from one of the screws around the perimeter of the slide. Unfortunately I have been working a lot aND haven't gotten to really look at it. Keep me posted on how it goes... just frustrating because this shouldn't be an issue.

I can confirm that the large bedroom slide is covered with gelcoat like the sides. Perhaps if you know someone in the fiberglass industry you can get a quote from them to do the same to the other slides.

Propane Tanks

Still kinda new to RV life so I have a questions that I am sure others have solved. How do you know how much propane you have left in your tanks?

2nd gray tank

Me again, I have an FL379 and it is supposed to have 2 gray tanks. However when I pull the 2nd gray tank lever (under the bedroom slide) nothing is ever discharged. The level gauge has never shown that there is any water in it so I am wondering a couple of things:
1. This tank is supposed to hold water from the kitchen and wondering if Bay Hill (heaven forbid) never hooked it up and went the cheap quick way and just ran all the gray water into one tank.
2. I really don't have two tanks and the pipe that comes out of the bottom of the trailer (drain) really isn't hooked up to anything

What do you all think?

My trailer is a 2016 model
