I'm going to get it painted and hopefully forget about it.

I made an entry a few months ago about the cap on my 2013 Dutchmen Denali. After several attempts with buffing and expensive waxes, I buffed it out again and used PoliGlow product. It has kept its shine all summer whereas the wax products were fading within a couple of months. The only thing negative is that where some of the bugs have hit it I have not been able to remove all traces of the marking. I don't know if there is something else I can do short of removing and reapplying. The PoliGlow is like a floor wax, you apply several coats. It has good reviews from boat owners. It can be stripped and redone. They advertise that you should apply an additional coat yearly. Although not perfect, it certainly has relieved a lot of my worry (and anger) about the appearance of my trailer. Maybe some of you would be interested if you have not found a fix and don't want to invest in a paint job
