Faulty water pump?

I repaired the leak about which I wrote a few days ago and have had no problems until yesterday. I turned on the water pump while the city water was also running, thinking it would enhance the water pressure. Later in the day I had a leak again in about the same place as before.

I looked at the plumbing behind the control center and found no water or sign of leakage. I also opened the belly and allowed the accumulated water to drain then tried to find the leak. I cannot find the leak. The only thing different that I've done since fixing the earlier leak is to turn on the water pump. I don't know what a faulty pump does but what this one does is to hum, vibrate slightly and put out very little pressure.

We are not leaking now, are running on city water and the pump is turned off. Can someone help me sort through this? Thanks so much!

To help trace a leak, I use toilet paper. Wrap it around suspected leak points and wait for it to get wet.

This may be a dumb question but you stated you are trying use your water pump while the city water is hooked up. Did you fill your fresh water tank? It kind of sounds like an empty tank trying to pull the last of the water. Maybe I am misreading though. I know this does not answer the leak question.
