My 5th wheel trailer is 7 years old and the fiberglass end caps have areas that have become dull due to exposure to the sun. I've tried several different waxes, including Gel Gloss and Protectal, but none of them restore the original luster. Does anyone have a suggestion for a cleaner or wax that they've used successfully in restoring dull fiberglass? The sides of the trailer still look nearly like new.

303 protectant every 2 months during the summer. Wont take off yellow but does shine and protect from uv. See thier site for how to apply to dull fiberglass on rv.

There is a product called Glaze 44 for taking the oxidation off RV's. I've used it on 3 RV's. It is like a colour restorer product. It leaves a silicone coating for protection and can be followed with regular wax or polish.

Another product that I use and find works verry well is called Racers Edge. It was originally designed for marine use but works great on autos etc. The oxidation remover restored the original shine on my 88 Celebrity boat. The wax works great for easily removing oil at the water line. Great for bugs on front cap of RV.
