Fiberglass Roof Maintenance

I have an 06 Excel 30 RSO with fiberglass roof. Yesterday we cleaned it for the second time in a few months and found heavy black mold again on it. We cleaned it with a mild bleach cleaner. I'd prefer not using bleach unless it's the best way. What do you use and how often do you clean your roof.

My Second question is now that it's clean how do I protect it and stop the mold. Do I put a wax on the roof or something else. I'm thinking wax would make it quite slippery.

Haven't had any mold issues with our fiberglass roof. Are you parked under a tree of something that's causing this issue? As to cleaning/waxing our roof I use Maguire's Wash and Wax in one product to provide some what of a protective coating on the roof. Yes it might be slippery but I always wear rubber soled foot wear on the roof.

Try this twice a year on your roof.

I use Zep hi traffic floor polish on ours, fast, easy, cheap and lasts for 2 years. We have no garage because we're fulltime. We're in sun/rain all the time.

Cleaning with Mister Clean Magic Eraser and couple of coats of Mop and Glow works well on the fiberglass roofs. Will keep it from bleeding the white streaks too.
