Fifth Wheel Magazine | The latest Fifth Wheel & Toy Hauler Information

I've never heard of it, but looking at site as I post this.

quote from} Fifth Wheel Magazine
Fifth Wheel Magazine is a free online magazine covering fifth wheel campers, toy haulers, fifth wheel hitches, fifth wheel accessories and manufacturers. Fifth Wheel Magazine provides owners with the latest accessories and news about the fifth wheel camping industry.

Seems to talk about Forest River Products wonder if they sponsors it?

It looks pretty dated, too. The copyright date on the website is 2010.

It looks like a good idea, but as already mentioned, someone doesn't seem to be keeping it up to date. I just sent them a picture of my rig for their calender. We'll see if I get a response.

I looked at the latest issue a few days ago. There was an article on picking the right tow vehicle for a fifth wheel. I was astonished by the article. The only thing address was the pin weight and the article was flat wrong. They said the "most important number is the DRY PIN WEIGHT and to use the GVWR on the door jamb. WTH There was no mention of GCWR or Axle ratings. And we all know by now that the GVWR on the door jamb is not entirely accurate in a real life scenario.

I went to the CONTACT page to write them a note and there was a Camping World banner on the page. If the publication is put out by CW, then the article doesn't surprise me. All they want to do is sell an RV. They have no concern if you can do it safely or not.

I continued to write them a letter. The said they respond within 48 hours. Three days and no response.

So much for the credibility of this rag-mag.
