Fifth Wheel Advise

My Wife and I are starting to shop for our next camper and are looking into two units, Both 2012 year models. One is a cherokee 285BS Fifth Wheel and the other is a Jayco Super Lite HT 27.5 BHS Fifth Wheel. We own a cherokee TT now and so far have had no issues with it. One of our concerns is the cherokee is 13.2 Feet tall, the Jayco has better options with a shorter height and better floor plan. We are Thinking about going with the Jayco but have had no expierience with them. Any advise would be much appreciated.

We had a Jayco TT before we got the Winnebago. Had very good luck with it.

IMO, go with the Jayco because of the height. We decided on a TT partly because it would eliminate the pucker factor of a fiver. Know what I mean?

Thanks, we looked at TT but decided to go the 5er route for the money and features, I am finding now that my pin weights seem to be about 100 lbs over weight.
