Yes there are low rise steps to bath/bedroom and one interior step as you enter the door. I wasn't crazy about that either.

Spacecraft is located in Concordia, MO. My wife and I used to live there, and actually taught some of the owners. If you look at their website you will find that they think very highly of their products.
