Fifth wheel tail gate

I have a 1992 ford f-350 can anyone tell me what the dimensions on a fifth wheel tail gate would be? I have a son who works in a steel shop and he can make one for me. I just need measurements.

I would take the old tailgate off and hand it to him. Then he can figure out how the latch system works and hitch works as well.

Another thought. I have a 10inch tall aluminun tote box that sits across the back at tailgate position.
