SultanGris, I am concerned by your comment- 1-"lol" and one haha. A blowout can be catastrophic, causing damage to the sidewall, undercarriage and in some cases, tearing out propane hoses. They can also cause loss of control, which COULD cause the vehicles to overturn. I have seen it happen and it's a serious issue!

If the front tire of your car blows and you are inexperienced you may have issues but blowing a trailer tire isn't gonna cause a rollover.

Do your rims have the capacity to support the load and psi rating of the LRE tires?

When using tires of the same size and design but with a higher load capacity the information on the tire placard is still valid. The LRE tire will carry the same load as the LRD tire at 65 psi. However, you gain no advantage with the new tires without increasing the tire pressure. On the other hand you should NEVER use less tire pressure than what is recommended on the tire placard.

It is important to note that many ST tire manufacturers require their tires to be aired to full sidewall pressures. That information will be in the tire’s warranty package.
