SIX slides .

How much does this 5er weigh ?
GVWR and pin weights .
JMHO: You'll have to do a lot of investigating to make sure you have a big enough tow vehicle to be safe and comfortable on the road.

We had an Alpine in 2013, it had a Norcold fridge and a crappy mattress. The rest of the rig was comfortable and solid. I looked at some pics of this model at a dealership on line, it looked like a nice floor plan and residential fridge.

When it comes right down to it, the final decision is yours. Face value, this appears to be a good looking rig. But just like with any RV, sometimes if it ain't broke, it just means you're not looking close enough for the problem.

Get enough truck to tow the rig and stop it!

Once you've done all this, ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY.

We had a 2012 Alpine 3555RL that we paid the same for new. Sounds like a good deal to me. As RVs go, it was a pretty decent rig and our dealer (Clear Creek RV in Silverdale WA) was good. If it's the right rig for you, go for it.

Happy trails,

Congrats, We take delivery next week on our new Alpine 3010RE. It was built in April 2015, has all the features and interior of 2016 but build year 2015. Ours also has the full body paint. We've been looking months for a quality 5er sub 34' with paint. If you look at the features and build specs these are above average coaches. I think we will have years of enjoyment from our purchases.

Dry weight is listed as 13,620lbs .....FYI dry weight is always more than the factory says

GVWR is 15500. This gives and max carrying capacity of 1800lbs (with an empty 547lb water tank)...... not very muck for a 5th wheel

Are you dry camping? Water tank is not that big. The back tank is only good for 3-4 days.

Can you get into the bath bedroom with the slides closed?

Hyd. jacks are short and pushed down to the max adjustment which means the jacks cannot be retracted far enough.

Do you eat allot of popcorn? Once the stove and sink are in use there is very little counter space in the kitchen

5 steps into the trailer?

For a 40' the 30lb propane bottle should be 40lbs

like Skip426 said ..... 6 slides .....you are either very good a maintaining slides or you will become good at it. Worse they look like Shwintek slides mechanisms.
