Talking First Trip Out 2015

Reservation confirmed for first extended weekend in 2015. I can't wait to sit in my lounge chair and watch the lake. Maybe the first weekend in March will be warmer than February in GA. A little campfire and a dutchoven breakfast should do the trick.

We are heading to the Oregon coast for a two week Spring break trip starting on March 17th. Can't wait! Time to start the season. We were out of over 100 days last year and will probably hit 150 this year. Yahoo!

We probably won't be camping until late May if the ICE and snow have melted by than in the north. Right now we still have between 5 and 7 inches of snow on the ground and 100% covered through out the Chicago-land are and the great lakes our 85% covered with ice as of today.

So enjoy you early camping this season.

We've been out 16 nights in 8 different Texas State Parks in 2015.

The joy of Texas winters. But summers are a different story. Head north to cooler climates or stay home when it's 100+.
