Flies come from larvae, and do not appear by plain old mating, something is rotting in it somewhere and the maggots are maturing and turning into flies. You can bomb it, but until you find the source they will reappear and the cycle starts over. Maggots are pretty tough to kill off completely with a bug bomb, find the source, eliminate it.

Not true. Any fly that enters our RV or house has a life span of 15 minutes, at the most.

My wife goes ballistic when she see's a fly and stops everything until she has killed it.

They hang around inside a loooong time here (violent slapping sound, missed, cursing).
In the mean time, if there is someplace to lay eggs they hang around longer. One dead mouse can feed quite a few!

Had this issue just a few months ago in the S&B. It was winter and you don't expect there to be a fly issue. Could not figure out where they were coming from. DW keeps a very clean house.

Well we used a natural process to kill them rather than bug bombs. We put out jars or cider vinegar with small holes punched into the top. They go in, can't get out and they drown. We were catching 100's of them and thought it would all be over soon. Two weeks later they were still everywhere.

Turns out when we removed everything from our kitchen just before this became an issue so we could lay new stone tile flooring a bag with 3 potatoes had been put into a box and something else placed on top of it. It was in with stuff we set aside for a yard sale and forgotten about. The potatoes became a breeding ground for the flies and the source of our issue. Once I got rid of that the problem was resolved in a few days with our vinegar traps. Fly life cycle is pretty short.

Point of the long story is, you need to find the source of the flies. Somewhere they are feeding/breeding on something in your rig. And you don't need to set off poison bombs contaminating everything in the trailer.

That will kill the flies but not the eggs. 3-5 days they will be back.

Maybe they are sewer flies (drain flies) - but even then, you would only get tens of flies at a time. For you to have "thousands" of flies you would need to have a dead elephant under your bed.

I bought 3 bombs so I will do another one in a few days, and another for good measure. 😃.... They look like a small house fly but have black stripes on their wings... I will post a picture of them today after work.

Drain fly. Few variants but all smaller than a normal house fly.

If they are drain flies, smoke bombs will be a waste of tiime
