I finally got done rippin gout all the carpet and installing the "allure" vinyl planks, it added just under 180 pounds of weight.
but it looks fantastic and is dog, grandkid and sand friendly. I also took half the bench dinette out and put in two chairs we salvaged from a yard sale, wife stripped em down and restained em to match our interior. she is a peach i am going to have to keep her
photos in my albums here at irv2

i still need to make my custom lower slide seal covers but thats going to wait till a tomrrow
we aslo removed the fireplace and had tow new doors made to match the rest of cabinets, now we have a nice place for the printer and odds and ends.

its intersting you brought up about hot weather, its been cold here last coiple nights so the furnace had been coming on, the floor used to get pretty warm right over the vent run, it stil des and so far the tiles have just seamed up tighter.
sure makes vacumming a snap, the dog thinks its funny to loose half her hair everyday.
today i mocked up my slide seal trim so it gets contured and sanded then turned over to the paint shop ( wife ) for sme stain and poly...
