Floors falling out of slideouts

I have a 2007 Holiday Rambler Presidential Suite 5th wheel model 37RLQ. The floors are falling out from the bottom (all 4 slideouts) with the bedroom being the worst. This is the poorest design I can imagine for a 80K rig... No caps or anything just a butt joint and some caulk...no rivets ir screws...nothing to hold...plywood bottoms are delaminating. Has anyone seen this before or can offer any solutions. Dealer where I bought it wants $4000 to replace floors. I'm lost. I could use a diagram of the floor configuration if anyone knows how these units are assembled...

The HR Presidential Suite's I thought were a high end unit. Can you post any pictures to give a better idea as to the severity of the problem. I can't imagine a 07' having floor problems......

Sounds like you have unresolved water leaks.

I agree with Don, the first step is locating and sealing any water leaks. The best way to find water leaks is to use Sealtech Manufacturing Inc. - RV leaks bubbles recreational vehicles. Locate an RV service center that know how to use one and have it done. When I had ours done in 05 the cost was $100, and I consider it the best money spent on our 5er. After that you are safe in restoring/replacing rotten wood. If you find mold or mildew, use Concrobium Mold Control to seal the area that does not require replacement.

But to have all 4 slides having this problem, I would say it goes back to the construction method they used. Something went bad in the design....This should not have happened in a 07' unit....

Oops, didn't see the (all 4 slides). I agree, this is surely a construction related issue with such a new unit. I would not delay, time passed means further destruction. Keep records of all contact with the dealer and manufacturer, for future use if needed. I know of one lady who successfully negotiated with the manufacturer to replace her "lemon" 5er because she kept detailed records of all contact.
